Book Release: The Liar’s Diary by Patry Francis

by Rebecca Laffar-Smith

It is my pleasure and I am so excited to join an amazing collection of bloggers from around the world today on a very important mission. We’re here to let the world know about Patry Francis’s debut suspense novel, “The Liar’s Diary“. The hardcover release last spring from Dutton was a hit and today marks another success for this talented author with the books trade paper release.

Author of, ''The Liar's Diary'', Patry FrancisYou might wonder why Patry’s caring friends have called on friends and strangers to spread the word on Patry’s behalf. I know Patry is pushing hard herself but she can’t take on the challenge of promoting the new release because she is currently focused on fighting another battle, the battle against cancer.

“Patry, we hope you win the fight and come out stronger, with another story to tell from the experience.”

The Liar’s Diary” stars disheartened suburban housewife and school secretary, Jeanne Cross. Her life is unaffected and mundane, so when the vibrant and captivating Ali Mather becomes the school’s music teacher Jeanne finds a connection with this unlikely new friend.

Ali is everything Jeanne isn’t. She’s wild, passionate, and outgoing. Her lust for life, men and music spark the women’s emotional needs, vulnerabilities and long-held secrets. All of which Ali has privately recorded in her diary.

When the evidence against Jeanne’s teenage son, Jamie, leads to his arrest for Ali’s murder Jeanne must face the dark secrets and a heart breaking choice. What comes first: our loyalty to family – or the truth?

Please check out a copy of this book. Amazon has seen many rave reviews and I know you will enjoy it. While reading, send some warm thoughts to Patry, she needs the strength and encouragement more now then she ever has before.

Thank you, Lisa! I’ve always felt it is important to support other writers, particularly in a case like this. Patry is such a vibrant, giving person who deserves success.

Now, where is this fire you’re talking about? *looks for wisps of smoke*

Nice of you to do this, Rebecca! I’m behind on my blog reading/commenting, but it looks like you started a cyber fire on your own. :-)
