@ Melissa: Thank you so much for your congratulations. It really did make my day. Now I have so many books to read. lol

@ LaskiGal: Thanks!

@ Michele: *blushes* Thank you so much for your wonderful praise and compliments, Michele. If only it were as easy to STICK to a business plan as it is to write one. Still, that gift certificate did help my career a great deal and I am thankful to have that incentive to strive on.

@ Jodi: Thank you so much. From a life coach it means a lot to me to hear appreciation for my goal setting techniques. I've found myself developing a goal setting technique that blends many of the fantastic qualities of other techniques such as Tony Robbins' R.P.M. and S.M.A.R.T. as well as to do lists and day planning to accomplish forward momentum.

I'm intrigued by your Fast Forward Challenge but I don't think I could do it. I often struggle with accomplishing the simplist of goals and fall apart when the pressure stacks on. My Bipolar can be lethal in that regard because despite my best intensions when I start juggling too many plates or when the odds are stacked high on just one of them it all comes crashing down.

Any suggestions for dealing with that? I've been working at the stepping stone concept. Tony Robbins calls it Chunking. Where you break down those BIG ideas and focus only on the next, tiny step on the path and take action on that step NOW.

Hello Rebecca,

Read your award winning business plan and WOW! I love the thought you put into it. It is very comprehensive and worthy of the award.

I also appreciated your writing on goal setting, thank you or not writting about the SMART goal approach we all hear about so often.

As a life coach I work on goal setting with clients often, one strategy I use with my clients and would like to offer you is how to create a Fast Forward Challenge that will get you moving faster towards the achievement of your goals. For a Fast Forward Challenge I encourage clients to take a goal they are currently working on, this could be one of the defined steps and benchmark what you know you can do at the effort you plan to put into it. Now add 20% (however you would measure that), state it as a challenge, enlist some form of support (an accountaility partner, mentor, coach, etc) and GO FOR IT!

To Your Continued Success!
