Yes, &quot;e-mail can certainly be additive, fun even, but it can also become very time consuming.&quot;  It&#039;s best to check email in the morning, unless a client calls and tells you they&#039;re emailing information to you.  Some writers get distracted by instant messaging.  Tell family and friends that your work from 8 am to 5 pm and that instant messaging is for clients during those hours.
