Accept it and move on."</i> I'm so glad I took her advice! When a publication takes the time to respond to us at all, it's a good sign. And when they take even more time to point out what we did wrong - or could've done right - it's a HUGE compliment, in my opinion. So, I pass the advice on to you: Accept rejection and move on. Ah, but rejoice in the rejection and negative feedback – it’s how we learn and grow!

When I first started submitting my work, a wise (seasoned) writer – also a retired school teacher – told me: “Michele, you’ll face a LOT of rejection. Accept it and move on.”

I’m so glad I took her advice!

When a publication takes the time to respond to us at all, it’s a good sign. And when they take even more time to point out what we did wrong – or could’ve done right – it’s a HUGE compliment, in my opinion.

So, I pass the advice on to you: Accept rejection and move on. Embrace it. Love it. Cherish it. Grow from it. You’ll be glad you did, girl! ;-)
