Hi, Rebecca!

Oh, you make an awesome point: "I’ve also found that I ‘enjoy’ the chaos. It’s kind of an addiction isn’t it? I mean although we do have many different tasks and jobs we need to get done we could schedule specific time to focus on each one individually. But it ‘feels good’ to be doing so much, to feel busy and productive."

So true!!!

I absolutely agree that the chaos is addictive and I love it. :-D

There are more posts coming from me on this topic, but I'd LOVE to hear from you and the other WRA contributors and learn from the different perspectives and tips you'd each bring to the (freelance) table.

*raises hand* Yep, I admit to having a pretty nasty case of MJSS from time to time. :-) There are just so many things that 'need' to get done. I've learned that sometimes you just have to be flexible and in command enough to say, "No, that can wait."

But it 'feels good' to be doing so much, to feel busy and productive. Maybe that's just me because I know how bad I feel when I'm not being busy and productive, when guilt replaces pride. Sometimes, of course, I do wonder if I should get off the drug of Multitasking and try a more structured, linear way of doing things.

I'm looking forward to reading more about staying sane while multitasking. I bet you (or perhaps we collectively) could write a whole series of posts about tips, tools, and techniques for keeping it all together.
