I have written testimonials and will continue to do so. I wrote one for my pet sitter, the organizer of a master mind group I belong to, and a few other people. If their services added value to my life, I'm more than willing to share my experience. On the flip side, I'll let people know which businesses lack customer service skills. There are plenty of those in America!

I'm blessed to have and use the left/right brain. With three business degrees, I understand the value of building and developing relationships. Unfortunately, most "creative" types are stuck in the right side of the brain. The thought of attending a networking events or preparing a cash flow statement scares them to death. If you want to be in business, you better be willing to learn about it.

I attend networking meetings to strengthen my relationship building skills. It's not always about "getting referrals," it's about helping others grow their business and skills.

Excellent post, Rebecca! I'm huge on writing recommendations and write them whenever I can. I also try to share articles or accomplishments from fellow writers/bloggers. It's wonderful to have an online support system and share excitement and joy over our achievements, success, articles, or whatever.

I also try to participate in #FollowFriday on Twitter whenever I have time. I love recommending fantabulous follows! :-D

Great job!!

*smiles*
