Lisa Gates of Design Your Writing Life put together a lovely post on Monday. A Gratitude “Meme”. I thought it was such a lovely idea. We should always be willing to show our deep appreciation. Since I was planning to do a November link-love for my commenters I’ve decided to follow Lisa’s lead, a gratitude meme, feel free to spread the fire of thanks on your own blogs and drop a link in the comments if you do.
With my deepest thanks I’d like to take a moment to appreciate the inspiration, encouragement and wonderful thoughts offered by people around the world in response to my blog entries. My readers comments encourage my continued blogging so if you continue to comment, I’ll continue to write here.
Melissa Donovan – I’ve only recently discovered Melissa but was so captivated with her lovely, informed voice and eagerness to share with other writers that I couldn’t resist plugging her blog Writing Forward in a recent blog review. Every new entry adds a richness to the developing blog and I know she is going to have a great deal of success. Thank you for your comments this month, Melissa, and for linking to me during the month of November.
Natasha Judd – Thank you for the linkage this month, Natasha! I always appreciate seeing what you’re writing about on Web Stuff 4 Writers and love to see your comments here at The Writer’s Round-About. Thanks for your support!
Michele L. Tune – As always, Michele, you’re the head of my fan club and I truly appreciate your wonderful comments and emails. You’ve got a heart of gold and it was my pleasure to review your blog, Writing The Cyber Highway.
Sharon Hurley Hall – I love it when you visit, Sharon, and your/s is one of the best blogs in my reader. You’ve got insightful and informative posts on Get Paid To Write Online. It’s a fantastic resource for online writers. I’m hoping to put together a full review soon.
Anne Creed – I’ve missed you in the past weeks, Anne. I hope you’ll be updating Novel Goals and Novel Struggles with your recent novel writing progress. It’s a challenging struggle sometimes and it has been so wonderful to share my experiences with you. I hope you’re writing prolifically and pulling together the threads of a fantastic book.
PlaidEarthworm – Thanks for your thought-filled comments! I always look forward to hearing your thoughts and I hope you enjoy reading The Writer’s Round-About. Your blog, Squiggle~ the Writing World of Plaid Earthworm is filled with your lovely voice and intriguing entries that show your insightful and creative mind.
Deborah Dera – Thank you for your comment in November Deborah. It was good to know that I’m not alone when it comes to fear of writing. It’s strange that something we love so much can also terrify us. I guess it’s the things that matter most that cause the greatest extremes of emotion. Your blog, The Rhythm of Write is filled with fantastic topics. I haven’t had a chance to explore it deeply yet but I’m looking forward to doing so.
Jeff Draper – It was wonderful to hear from you again in November, Jeff. Your comment really brought a smile to my face but in a way it’s very true. If only we’d stop being such perfectionists we’d find this job so much easier. Scriptorius Rex has some great little tidbits, thanks for sharing them with us.
Rebecca Taunton – I really enjoyed your visit to The Writer’s Round-About, Rebecca. I really love your photographs on Cornish Dreamer. You’re far less ‘amateur’ than I am but the pictures you have the most are the kind I love. Nature in its raw beauty.
Jerry Waxler – It was lovely to see you again, Jerry. It truly is an adventure to move blog homes so I’m glad my favorite readers didn’t get lost on the way. Memory Writer’s Network looks like it’s going strong and the domain name is fantastic.
Courtney Ramirez – Thanks for your comment this month, Courtney. Web Writing Info is looking fantastic as well and while I haven’t had a chance to dig into your blog yet I’ve got you in my reader as one I really want to read regularly. You’ve got some brilliant topics and I know I’ll learn a lot from your posts.
Craig Smith – I enjoyed your visit to The Writer’s Round-About this month Craig and I hope you have been enjoying the SG1 Series. I’m almost ready to wrap up the series, one more post left before I give my readers a break from all the Stargate hype. I know others don’t love it as much as we do but it is still amazing how much we can learn about writing from watching such a successful series.
Thank you, everyone, for your lovely comments this month. To all those readers who don’t comment I’d like to say I truly appreciate your support and hope you’ll consider dropping a note just to say hi from time to time. You’re all welcome to email me at any time. I enjoy hearing from other writers. I hope you find my blog a useful resource, and an enlightening, entertaining and enjoyable read. Drop me a line if you have any suggestions for topics you’d like to know more about.
I’m looking forward to enjoying your comments in December. Thanks to those who have already commented and look for the next Commenters Link-Love early in January.

Now that’s what I call thanking your commenters in style, Rebecca. I’ve now also got some new blogs to check out.
What a wonderful post! In this busy time of year, or any time of year for that matter, showing gratitude seems to be a rare occurence. I don’t normally feature non-royal posts on my blogs, but in this case I may just make an exception. Thanks for the inspiration!
Aw, how precious, Rebecca! Heart of gold? That would be what you have! I agree with Sharon that you’ve thanked your commenters “in style!” Thanks so much!
I can only anticipate with great excitement all the wonderful posts you’ll share with us in 2008. Since I’ve found you, I’ve enjoyed every word you’ve written–immensely!
From book and blog reviews, to series on how to become outstanding writers, I’ve hung on every word. The Writer’s Round-About has such a friendly atmosphere, I feel like my day isn’t complete unless I’ve had my fill of this blog!
You make me smile, touch my heart, and teach such a wide array of information!
Here’s to breathtaking success with every step you take (writing the cyber highway!)
*Hugs*
Michele

Thank you, Sharon, Marilyn, Michele, Lisa and Melissa! It’s so wonderful to see your comments and I’m glad you enjoyed the Gratitude Meme. It’s important to give thanks and I truly appreciate the support, guidence and kindness of those friends I’ve made thanks to their courage to comment. Thank you all!
That was a beautiful meme, so well-written and heartfelt. I’m glad that the AW Comment Blitz #5 led me to your blog!
I’m glad you enjoyed it Wordsmith.
Aw, thank you! I definitely enjoy Writer’s Round-About, and right now, yes, this minute, I’m adding you to my links. If that’s okay.
This is a fantastic idea for a meme. Thank you very much for the kind comments re: my photographs & for the link. I really enjoy your blog., it’s an inspiration. RT
Rebecca, you leave the best comments! I love having you in the blog blitz.
And this meme is such a great idea! I think I might do it on my blog soon.
Oh my goodness, Rebecca! I just realized that you added me to your list of top commenters. Thank you…I am really, really touched. Gratitude is contagous, m’dear.
Thank you Rebecca. I do really love your photographs and I’m glad you enjoy my blog.
Thanks Elrena. I always try to say something interesting. It’s always great to have you visit here.
*chuckles* Congratulations, Wordsmith! Alas, I refuse to take credit for your addition to the Top Commenters. That is is automated based on who makes the most comments on the blog. So congratulations and thank you to YOU! For all your support. Michele seems to rule the list but the more comments you leave the higher your place will be. I might extend to ten Top Commenters if I get more visitors commenting multiple times.
Aw, what a kewl idea, and as a couple of others already said, you definitely thanked your commenters with style. Plus, now I have a few more blogs to check out.
Thank you, Nita! I’m sure you’ll love these sites. It’s so much fun to explore and thank all the wonderful people who stop by and contribute to The Writer’s Round-About with their comments.

How to Optimize Website For Bing …. ?
Thanks, Jeffrey. I’m glad you like it. Welcome to WRA.
Hi Allison!
Welcome to Writer’s Round-About.
I’ve not done much work optimizing specifically for Bing but I’ll look into it and write a post if I find some great tips. The good news is, what works for Google usually works for other search engines as well. So check out our Search Engine Optimization category to get you started.

Oh, great question Lisa. There are lots of ways modern technology can help reduce our environmental impact. I’ve taken note of your question and will put together a post about it when I have a chance.
