The entry deadline for WRA’s New Design Launch Contest has passed. I hope everyone who wanted to enter had a chance. There have been some brilliant entries and I am glad to have this opportunity to pass the voting over to you. It’s going to be tough choosing winners.
If you entered you CAN vote, encourage your blog readers to check out the entries and choose their favorite too. If you didn’t have the chance to enter but wish you had, please let me know. I’ll take into consideration these details when it comes up to the next contest.
Now, without further ado here are the lucky entrants. I am not going to disqualify entrants who did not meet all of the rules but please remember the rules involved when judging. Deduct points for missing rules and add points for great content and class.

What a great contest, Rebecca! I enjoyed reading everyone’s reviews too.
Love the new design, Rebecca! Very, very smooth.
Hey Rebecca–
It looks like the link to my listing goes to an error page. Geez. I was thinking it was my oh so awesome writing skills (yeah, right!) that was getting me votes. Now I think it must be my awesome blog visitors or those baby pics.
Regardless–here is the link: http://laskigal.blogspot.com/2008/01/writers-round-about-new-design-launch.html
I’m excited because I’m not someone who wins things–I’m the kind of person who usually is the 999th shopper and they throw the party for the 1000th. BUT, that being said, these other entries are great. I finally had a chance to check them out and now I’ve found some new GREAT blogs!
Good luck with the contest and here is to hoping it generates a whole to group of visitors!
What an exciting contest you’ve created, Rebecca! And what a close race! Excellent way to draw readers to your blog!

@ Grandy: Thanks, Grandy. I’ve found the reviews INCREDIBLY VALUABLE. Priceless! They’ve offered fantastic feedback that I may never have discovered before. February turned into a crazy month with very little online time to work on non-paid things such as my blog so hopefully I’ll be able to spend more time in March ironing out the kinks and downsides mentioned in those reviews.
@ Erika: THANKS, Erika. It took a lot of hard work to put the new design together but I’m very pleased with the results. For now at least. I’m sure in a few months time I’ll be all set to tweak or overhaul it again.
I’m like that.
@ LaskiGal: Sorry about that, I fixed it right away when you mentioned the problem and I don’t think it was causing any voting problems or someone would have mentioned it sooner.
@ Jeanne: Thank you, Jeanne. It was a wonderful contest with a very close finish. More than 80 total votes too which is incredible.
