@topranked: Thanks for the compliment.

@Margaret: Thank you so much for visiting, Margaret! It's fantastic to see you here. I feel like I've mostly fallen into my PR3. I've known the basics of SEO but have never written with the intention of building a strongly ranked site. In all honesty, search results make up only a tiny fraction of my blogs traffic. Still, as I teach so do I learn. :-)

@Jean: I'm thinking of just that, Jean! Thanks for sharing your feedback and I'll see what I come up with sharing SEO hints and tips based on what I know and what I've learned over the years.

I'd love to have in your own words. Sorry - more work for you. But at least you wouldn't have to go searching for ideas for a series of blog posts.

I think you put me in elevated company when you include links to my site and Darrin Rowse in the same post Not that I'm complaining mind you!

Other sources for SEO information come from Google itself. But as anything in life, buyer beware - or in this case, reader beware. Before compiling the information I wrote in my articles, I read a boat load, tried and tested some things and came to my own conclusions about optimizing my site.

I know I have a PR of zero there.

I would like to blame that on a past association with PPP, but I long since removed those posts and incorporated all the things Google says will help, but still have a zero, so I am quite sure I'm missing something.

It may be something as simple as my domain name. Who looks for eyespi? Much less 20 of them?

Like most of you, I will continue in my quest for PR and when I get it, I'll most likely still be in the dark as to HOW I got it :P
